Five core Labor Ledger and General Ledger batch processes were replaced with retrofitted KFS release 3.0 versions (FMS central processing; no end-user impact).
The FIS ID billing collector upload screen and batch process, as well as the FIS General Ledger and Labor Ledger Correction Process documents, will be replaced with KFS versions (FMS central processing; no end-user impact).
IU Kuali Coeus (KC), the replacement for FIS proposal and award functionality, will be implemented by OVPRA. Interfaces between FIS and KFS will be changed for the KC release.
All remaining FIS user interfaces will be replaced with KFS; all FIS users will begin using KFS.
KFS Purchasing and Accounts Payable will replace EPIC and PDP processes for all users. All EPIC users will begin using KFS.
Please Note: As work continues on Phase 1 and Phase 2, there will be periodic minor releases to replace other FIS batch processes and central office functions.
